Family Medicine Physician opportunity: Great chance to provide care to an underserved population (MD or DO)

Locum Tenens Primary Care Opportunity – Phoenix Arizona
Specialty: Board Certified Family Practice Physician
Client: Indian Health Service
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Dates coverage is needed: asap – 3 months with option to extend
Schedule/Shifts Times: M-F; 4 – ten hour shifts (will arrange schedule once credentialing is complete, will have 1 day off during the week along with weekends)
Call Requirements: None
% inpatient / % outpatient: Outpatient only
Patient Volume: 12- 15 patients per day average
Patient Ages: adults only
Types of Cases: standard outpatient care, chronic illness treatment
Support Staff: yes (several Physicians, mid-levels, RN’s and specialty Physician support)
Type of Charting: EMR – RPMS
Requirements: BLS (through American Heart), DEA (fee paid, schedules 2-5)
Reason for Need: staff shortage
Credentialing Timeframe: 6-8 weeks on average
Additional Info: *** any State License ***; minimal gyn, only paps and pelvic exams for symptoms as needed. No suturing.
