The Radiation Oncologist will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing healthcare systems within the Radiation Oncology section. This position requires active participation in departmental programs, adherence to VA policies, and a strong commitment to improving clinical processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Monitor and improve the efficient utilization of resources within the Radiation Oncology section.
• Lead initiatives to enhance clinical workflows and drive process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all VA and Radiation Oncology guidelines and policies.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts and clinical program development.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
• 7 years of clinical experience
• Previous experience with EBRT, IMRT, IGRT and SBRT
• BLS, ACLS, DEA
• ***Any State License ***

Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm (No weekends, no call)

10-15 patients per day (Adults only)

Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (Will share in call rotation, approximately 1:4 coverage)

4-6 patients per day on average (Adults only)

Travel and Lodging arrangements provided

Key Responsibilities:

Delivers general anesthesia care to patients across various surgical settings including general, regional, local, and sedation. Anesthetic techniques may include the use of ultrasound, fluoroscopy and other technologies for diagnosis and care delivery, and to improve patient safety and comfort.

Requirements:

• Must be nationally certified CRNA
• BLS required
• Any State License accepted

12 hour shifts (Urgent Care is open 8am – 8pm, seven days per week – Schedule made 45 days in advance)

2-3 patients per hour average (Adults only)

Travel and Lodging arrangements provided

Key Responsibilities:

Board Certified or Board eligible Family Practice/Internal Medicine Physicians needed for Urgent Care coverage

Requirements:

• BLS
• ACLS
• DEA

Monday – Friday; 7:00am – 3:30pm (1:4 call rotation)

4-6 cases per day average (Adults only)

Travel and lodging arrangements provided

Key Responsibilities:

Board Certified/Eligible Anesthesiologist coverage needed for general surgery cases at the Buffalo VAMC

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• BLS, ACLS required
• Any State License accepted

12 hour shifts, will consider any availability (No call required)

6-8 patients average census (Adults only)

DAX will provide travel and lodging arrangements

Key Responsibilities:

Hospitalist coverage needed for nights, weekends and Holidays at the VA in Bath, NY.

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• BLS, ACLS and DEA
• Any State License accepted

12 hour shifts (8am – 8pm) with some weekends.  Schedule is made 3 months in advance, average 80-90 hours every 2 weeks. No call required.

20-25  patients per day average (All Ages)

DAX will arrange travel and lodging or offer stipend to cover T&L

Key Responsibilities:

DAX is seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to help cover the fast track at the Lawton Indian Hospital

Requirements:

• Nationally Certified Nurse Practitioner
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and DEA required

5-6 patients per day average (Will see all ages but the majority of patients are adults)

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of the locum tenens market and healthcare industry dynamics.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.

• Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and close deals.

• Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.

• Strong team player with enthusiasm and self-motivation.

• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Willingness to travel as needed.
