Scope of Work:

This project involved the comprehensive renovation of Building 223 at the Minneapolis VA Medical Facility to create a specialized storage facility for pandemic preparedness and logistics. The renovation required precise coordination to meet functional and environmental standards, transforming the building into three distinct areas with specific purposes.

Areas Covered:
  • Plan West Section: Semi-Conditioned Storage Space for Facilities Engineering
    • Installed a minimal heating system and enhanced ventilation for temperature control, ensuring the space remains above 40°F.
  • Plan East Section: Conditioned Storage Space for Logistics
    • Converted into a space with temperatures maintained between 60°F in the winter and below 80°F in the summer, outfitted with pallet racking for efficient storage.
