We successfully completed a comprehensive upgrade of the Building Automation System at the VA Medical Facility in Kansas City, Missouri. This $3.78 million project, executed between September 2020 and February 2022, showcased our ability to manage complex construction in occupied medical environments, ensuring 24/7 operation and safety compliance. Our team upgraded critical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, while maintaining stringent infectious control measures. This project highlights our expertise in executing large-scale medical facility renovations on time and within budget, reinforcing our commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
Scope of Work:
  • Complete upgrade of Building Automation System (BAS)
  • Included abatement, drywall, ACT, painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications
  • Upgraded 22 Universal Network Controllers (UNCs) with Schneider Electric Smart Structure LON ASP servers
  • Monitored water flow rates in real-time
  • Added 204 immersion-type temperature sensors in domestic water piping
    • Installed 120 flow meters with temperature sensors
